Why Your Child Should Consider The VET Program

VET in Schools Program

Vocational education and training can be of tremendous benefit and provides students still in high school with practical skills to help them get a head start on their career.

At Foundation Education, we want your child to reach their full potential, which is why we have dedicated ourselves to providing vocational development through our VET in Schools program.

Here’s why your child should consider partaking in this resourceful program.

The VET in Schools Program

Our VET in Schools Program allows students to gain a head start before leaving school by providing real-life tools and resources. As a Registered Training Organisation, we offer courses that range from Certificate II through to III, which will equip students with vocational training and essential skills.

Another benefit that our vocational courses provide students, is the opportunity to explore options following graduation. Studying a Certificate II or Certificate III qualification before graduating high school will make it easier to enter university. However, university is not for everyone and some students may prefer to move straight into work. With the practical skills that our vocational education and training courses provide, it may be easier for your child to secure an entry-level position.

Some Of Our Available VET Courses

CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support

Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to aid teachers and their students under supervision in public and independent schools.

Benefits Of Studying In The VET In Schools Program

Go At Their Own Pace

Our vocational and education training allows students to study flexibly alongside and within their own school work and schedule. All of our courses are designed to be completed online and at a student’s own pace. This also allows for choice as well, as a student may wish to fast track their studies and graduate sooner, or take their time to balance work, family and social commitments.

Our courses are also automatically marked by our system and submits student reports; gauging their performance, charting their strengths, and helping them overcome any obstacles.

Access To Resources

Another great resource that we offer to help students stay on track as they complete their studies is our learning management system, My eCampus. This is an individualized study plan that is provided upon enrollment, allowing them to set their own course completion date and schedule assignment deadlines.

Personal Growth Within The VET In Schools Program

The practical skills and knowledge that a student will acquire from vocational development has invaluable personal benefits as well. As your child learns interesting and dynamic subjects, engaging and becoming motivated to learn more, they will grow in self-esteem as this knowledge can be applied to their chosen field.

Our Schools Programs packages are specifically designed for growing minds, so if for any reason, a student should fall behind on their coursework, we will provide support and advice to help them get back on track with their goals.

We’d Love To Hear From You

Giving your child a head start on their career while in high school through the VET In Schools Program has practical and personal benefits. They will learn practical skills from our engaging courses, apply invaluable knowledge to a prospective career path, work at their own pace and be fully prepared for their future.
