This qualification will provide you with the skills you to work in a variety of early childhood education settings.
Throughout this course, you will learn how to support the development of literacy, oral and numeracy skills, and contribute to the management of a learning environment for children.
Once you’ve completed your CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, you’ll be able to support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development under direct supervision or autonomously.

A customised study plan will be provided to each student upon enrolment.
Students will need to have completed year 10 to participate in this VETiS program. They must be enrolled in a government and non-government school, secondary department or other school of distance education or institute.
School students require the signed consent of a parent or guardian to enrol in this qualification.
Students must apply for their Working with Children check at course commencement.
For mandatory work placement (120 hours), students must have access to a regulated education and care service provider, with appropriate range of work tasks and ratios of children, AND access to a qualified supervisor (i.e. a person who holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent).
