Working directly with allied health professionals, you will help develop programs and conduct therapeutic activities to identify, treat, and prevent various conditions and illnesses in patients. 

Occupational_Therapy_Assistant

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Occupational therapy assistants partner with occupational therapists to develop and deliver programs for patients, helping them perform day-to-day tasks more comfortably and confidently. Regular tasks include fitting assistive equipment as directed by the occupational therapist.

Up to 18 months

  • 120 hours of practical work placement.
  • 19 course units to complete. 
  • Submit 1 course unit every 3 weeks to graduate in 18 months.

Please note if you undertake these qualifications separately, you will be required to complete 80 hours in the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance and a further 120 hours in the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Physiotherapy).
