Course Outcomes

Function Host**
Welcome and greet guests in a hospitality establishment, provide general facility information and ensure guests are comfortable, with their needs tended to.
** Note: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) must be acquired external to and are not delivered by Foundation Education and are required to work in any business providing Alcohol and/or Gaming services respectively.

Food and Beverage Attendant**
You will provide a consistent and high quality standard of food and beverage set up/service, ensuring smooth delivery of conference and function services.

Gaming Attendant**
You are responsible for providing gamblers with gaming services in casinos and other gambling establishments.

Housekeeper (Hotel/Motel)
Housekeepers are responsible for regularly maintaining individual rooms and common areas of a property and reporting safety hazards to the homeowner or manager. Some of your roles may include sweeping, vacuuming, emptying rubbish bins, changing linens, ironing, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors.

Reception Front Desk Staff
Reception Front Desk Staff are responsible for greeting guests, answering queries, and maintaining appointment calendars. You will also help your guests navigate their way through your organisation (whether a hotel or office) and supply those guests with refreshments as required. You may also be tasked with sorting mail, keeping up with administrative duties and planning travel arrangements for senior staff and guests.
