You will learn how to oversee the purchase, display, mix and pricing of merchandise, implement policies and staff performance management, learn effective recruitment processes and ensure a safe working environment for your motivated sales team.

Through this course, you will learn how to maintain stock levels and manage your brand online, so you can acquire and maintain customers both online and offline. You will also gain insight into sales and promotion tactics that ensure business growth.

Manage store presentation and pricing
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to apply knowledge of store merchandising to plan and manage store promotions, and manage store pricing policies and housekeeping. It includes interpreting and complying with store layout and visual merchandising policies, developing and implementing procedures to manage merchandise pricing, and managing all aspects of store housekeeping, including contingency procedures.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage a range of meetings including overseeing the meeting preparation processes, chairing meetings, organising the minutes and reporting meeting outcomes.

To undertake this qualification, individuals are required to have retail management experience in roles, such as:

  • managing store presentation and pricing
  • leading and managing people
  • providing a safe working environment
